Spiritual Alignment

Much like we tend to our physical fitness, our spiritual fitness is just as important.

The roots of yoga teach us that having a daily spiritual practice, a Sadhana, is the key to spiritual alignment.  Building a consistent contemplative spiritual practice is a powerful tool for nurturing your highest good and the highest good of all.

What does spiritual alignment mean to you?

In what ways does your inner landscape match your external world?

Lately, I’ve been immersed in self-reflection, examining my spiritual alignment in choices, actions, relationships, and both  my personal physical and energetic spaces.

It’s a journey of self-discovery, navigating triggers, and unraveling patterned responses that disconnect me from my highest good and the highest good of others.

These deviations will manifest in all the ways: physically, mentally, and energetically as dis-ease—and a stark reminder to pause and realign.

Thankfully, the tools for nurturing our interior lives are readily available. Self-care rituals beckon us towards stillness and honest self-reflection, acting as guides back to equilibrium.

Take a moment to journal about the instances when your internal and external worlds diverge. The revelations can be profound and humbling, offering insights into areas ripe for realignment.

So, I extend an invitation to you: Grab your journal, find a quiet space, a cup of tea, and explore some of these questions.

Stay curious and out of judgment so you may welcome what is revealed.. You might find new ways of being as you deepen your most important relationship, the one with yourself.

As we journey into winter, a season of introspection, use these quiet months for personal inventory. Consider it a gift to yourself and those around you.

Remember, just as we tend to our physical well-being, nurturing our spiritual fitness is equally vital. So, keep reflecting on your days, months, or the past year with an open heart and mind.

Thank you for being a part of this journey and open to evolving along the way…
