4 week Series


In this 4 week Series, offered 3 times a year on Sunday evenings (see details below), we’ll dive into the breath and how a regular pranayama practice can greatly enhance and encourage a rich meditation practice.  This series is taught as interactive workshops, where students learn a variety of pranayama practices & meditative techniques. Find which practices resonate most for you and perhaps include in a home practice ritual. Workshops close with restorative poses for deep relaxation and a restful night’s sleep.

You’ll learn:

    • the anatomy of the breath
    • benefits of optimal breathing
    • a wide variety of breath practices (pranayama)
    • the breath as self-healer
    • best practices to use for different mental, emotional and physical states
    • the difference between mindfulness and meditation
    • the how & why of meditation
    • restorative yoga poses

45 minutes of restorative yoga to integrate the practices and close our evenings


Offered 3 times a year

Saturdays from 10-11:15 am:

February 2021:  7, 14 ,21, 28

June 2021:  6, 13, 20, 27
